A FISH WITHOUT SCALES

A FISH WITHOUT SCALES

KIMURA Asagi / digital / color / 30min. / 2016

A woman who lives alone transforms into a S&M dominatrix. Whispering, “It seems that fish do not feel pain,” she spends her days in the work of dispensing pain to human beings in designated hotels. The fantastic scenes inserted into the questioning of herself as someone who is thoroughly performing a persona and other people are impressive, and oddly bring an added sense of reality to this work shot in the style of a docudrama.
