An interview about a story written by a German woman is layered together with scenes of my mother gardening. Workers at a weaving factory are projected into this everyday activity, and the wartime history of Germany is inserted. The male voice is that of a war criminal who belonged to the Schutzstaffel (SS) during the war.
Born in 1984. Has lived in Berlin, Germany since 2012. Has been making primarily live-action films since 2008, including GOD AND FATHER AND ME (2008), a self-documentary, and Anrakuto (2011), a documentary that was based on interviews but used actors.
