I think everyone has played with toys. To enjoy playing with toys, you need imagination. When you are playing, what you are imagining becomes real and you become totally absorbed in it. For us “filmmaking” is a kind of play we really enjoy, and our video cameras are our toys. Using our cameras, we spun up our imaginations and played.
　

DAIRIKI Takuya, MIURA Takashi

Both born in 1980. Friends since childhood, they began making movies together as an extension of playing together as children. Their films are mainly shot in outdoor areas such as mountains and rivers. Main works include NIKOTOKO ISLAND (2008), HELPLESS STONES (2010), and STONE, SONG AND PETA (2012)
