KAWANAKA Nobuhiro
Born in Tokyo in 1941. Has been making experimental films since the 1960s. Founded Image Forum in the 1970s. As an organizer, has spread experimental film on an individual basis throughout Japan and overseas. Has educated his successors at various institutions, including Tokyo Zokei University, Tama Art University, and the Image Forum Institute of the Moving Image. Has made more than 100 short and feature-length films.
