The film is about the Italian-born Argentine singer, Ignacio Corsini, and uses Argentine tango as a starting point to unravel the history of Argentina in the 19th century. The scenes such as re-recordings of masterpiece songs, and the scene which visiting places depicted in the lyrics of those songs to explore the background of the songs, are the symbolistic of meta-film style, and it delights the audience just like Llinás’s “La Flor” did in the same style.
