《O》50 Years of Image Forum Institute of Moving Image
Having held its first term in 1977, this year marks the fiftieth term of the Image Forum Institute of the Moving Image. This “Institute” can be characterized as a venue where individual students pursue and realize their own expression through critical guidance, and since its founding has produced widely diverse films overflowing with creativity. Students have produced nearly two thousand graduation works, and the Institute has come to occupy an important place in the Japanese moving image scene. This special program is a selection of twenty-seven of its students’ graduation works.
