Spending time together can make you see John BERGER’s thinking, which cannot be conveyed through any text or works of art. An intimate portrait produced by Derek JARMAN Lab.
John BERGER is an English art critic, author and poet known for such works as “Ways of Seeing” and “A Seventh Man.” Here, actress Tilda SWINTON takes the camera in her hand and visits the French Alps, where he lives, gently exchanging conversation and at times, sharing silence together. While peeling an apple and drawing each other’s portrait, they take a “a lesson in thinking” from one of the great thinkers of the 20th Century.
