Everyday items as high art. What kind of stories do the uses, limits, and forms of everyday objects tell?
Through this workshop, we will examine familiar landscapes from a completely different perspective and explore how our daily lives can become a place of never-ending thought, inspiration, and artistic experimentation.
[ What to do? ]
Participants will pick up daily items on the table and perform actions according to the following keywords. Then, they will record them as a short film.
・Transform
・Mix
・Recreate(on a different scale, with different materials)
・Misuse
・Rearrange
・Animate

*Participants will be required to film and edit by oneself at this workshop. Please bring your smartphone, camera(if any), tripod(if any), and laptop(if any).
*It is recommended to see the screening program of “Things and Wonders” (on Monday, 2nd October from 9:00pm at Theatre Image Forum) prior to this workshop. ¥1,000 discount of participation fee for those who with a ticket stub of the “Things and Wonders” screening.
