Symposium “The Use and Future Prospects of Experimental Film Archives” (Japan Experimental Film Database Project)

The archiving of experimental and personal films in Japan is still in its early stages. While much remains unknown about how these archives should be utilized and managed, they also hold great potential for diverse possibilities. This symposium will examine the current state of experimental film archive utilization through concrete case studies and discuss future developments.
