The existence of \u201cfilm\u201d is under threat for various reasons, including natural disasters and political strife. Material to be screened disappears or is damaged\/degrades. Screening sites and programming itself may also be exposed to crises. What can film do survive when circumstances arise in which it is difficult for \u201cfilm\u201d to exist? This program looks for potential answers to this question through a transnational, pan-Asian dialogue.
