Set in Manazuru, Kanagawa Prefecture, actual episodes that occurred there are collected and fictionally portrayed through interviews and footage of walking around the town. A city cycling fantasy in which a young girl rides a bicycle through Manazuru, just barely managing to make it through on her own as she reacts with her whole body to the unique episodes she encounters in her wandering.(Y.N.)

A story that unfolds around a girl racing along on a bicycle. Riding as fast as she can, she peddles bracingly through the familiar seaside town and the dappled sunlight of a forest. Is the smaller girl who rides beside her the protagonist’s childhood? The children that suddenly appear in the middle of the air who seem like they could row anywhere evoke both the charms of innocence, and somehow also fear. A work in which the vibrant use of color charms you and the rhythm of the images puts you at ease. (T.S.)
