Nostalgia for scenes of the past when people were much purer and more innocent than they are today. But the landscape of mountains and rivers is constantly changing with no regard for such sentiments, and will never again be as it was. A beautiful, intense visual poem created with several thousand pencil drawings. (K.K.)

White silhouettes dance on a black screen. They look like smoke, and also like an illuminated rock face. The beautiful shadows created by the countless lines of pencil drawings transform gradually and occasionally violently. The images allow viewers to discover elusive, constantly shifting scenes. While a work of animation, this is perhaps close to the experience of looking at a natural phenomenon.(I.S.)
