A hand-drawn animation by MIZUE Mirai, who is known for his abstract animation using cells and geometric forms. Numberless organisms composed of straight lines wriggle and cavort with each other. Where are they going, and what is their aim? One drawing after another, so precisely fashioned it almost seems like CG, is added to “Dreamland,” causing the density to explode and creating a dance through prosperity and decline from order to chaos.(K.H.)
