An “aeon” is a unit of time representing a billion years. It is abbreviated as “AE,” making the age of the Earth 4.6 AE. Several thousand AE earlier or later, “it,” something that is neither animal, vegetable, nor mineral, settles on a planet, and commands a star toward an entity of a higher level… A painstaking animated work that implants this kind of delusion through dynamic changes in perspective, metamorphoses, and sound design.(S.T.)
